Diary FL8_014

Dr. Blankenhorn diary page for May 17, 1917.

Thur May 17.
Weather windy today. Convoy Wadsworth plays around our bows like a porpoise. U-boats kaput. Fast drilling today .

Men are doing very well, they look & act like soldiers. All baggage packt up & ready to move. Must give up M. Twain

in the Irish sea. Land visible often & sometimes very close. Farthest light.
