This workshop on the use of stapling device in surgery will include: motion pictures; opportunity for each participant to perform stapling operations in the experimental laboratory; opportunity for each participating nurse to assist with the operations in the experimental laboratory; operative clinics for all participants to be held in the three participating hospitals; and seminars.

Seminars for the surgeons will cover the clinical problems in stapling; seminars for the nurses will highlight nursing techniques and care and maintenance of instruments.

Registration is limited to 40 surgeons and 40 nurses on a first-come, first-served basis. Surgeons and nurses affiliated with the same hospital should so indicate on the application form. Additional information will be sent after receipt of registration.
