The President has vomited twice during the afternoon. The administration of food by the mouth has therefore again less temporarily suspended, and the nutritive enemata will be given more frequently. His temperature is lower and his pulse rather less frequent than yesterday afternoon. The parotid swelling is painless, but stationary. Pulse, 108; temperature, 99.2°; respiration, 18.
