12.30 P. M.
At the dressing of the President’s wound this morning it was found that pus had been discharging spontaneously and freely through the counter-opening made yesterday.  He has been quite comfortable this morning and taken a liberal supply of liquid nourishment.  His pulse is now 104; temperature, 99.7°; respiration, 19.
