The President slept sweetly last night from about 8 P. M. to 5 A. M. with but a single break duration at 11 P. M. Since 5 o’clock this morning he has dozed quietly, awakening at intervals. There have been no rigors. He takes his nourishment well, and his general condition is improving. He expresses himself as feeling better and more rested. Pulse, 94; temperature 98.4°; respiration 18.
