7.00 P. M.
The President has passed an excellent day, and the afternoon fever has been less than on any day since he was wounded.
At 1 P. M. his pulse was 92; temperature, 98.5°; respiration, 19.  At present his pulse is 96; temperature, 99.8°; respiration, 19.
