7.00 P. M.
The President has passed a better day than any since he was hurt.  The afternoon fever is still less than yesterday.  At 1 P. M. his pulse was 94; temperature 98.4°; respiration, 18.  His pulse now is 98; temperature, 100.2o; respiration, 19.
